THE BRIEF

The brief for Cocobella Fusions called for sub-brand identity design, packaging, and product launch. It aimed to address the distinct and sometimes divisive flavour of coconut water by masking it with fruity infusions. Positioned as a lifestyle drink, it appeals to consumers seeking hydration benefits and the refreshing taste of fruity flavours, particularly during the warm summer months.

RESEARCH + CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

In the research and concept development phase, we conducted an in-depth analysis of competitors to understand market trends and identify opportunities for differentiation. This research helped us define the balance between maintaining Cocobella’s core brand identity and introducing a fresh, distinctive look for the Fusions sub-brand. We established key negotiables and non-negotiables, ensuring that essential assets from the parent brand Cocobella, such as the logo, colour palette and illustration style, were carried across to maintain consistency and brand recognition.
